About Myself:

When I got my first camera over 30 years ago, I started halfhearted and wasn't too deeply involved in photography. The turning point came when
I saw some photography done by Alfred Eisenstaedt. His way to capture moments in people's lives and environment blew me away. I was hooked and suddenly my path, style, and future in photography was set.

My learning curve, training, and a lifelong "relationship" with photography began. As a result, I changed my camera gear, chose a few fast lenses and started shooting 'available light' style. Soon, natural light conditions and a journalistic style became essential to me.

For many years, my life was a cycle of traveling around the globe with my cameras. The majority of my photographic activities happened in Far East and Middle East, while a few of them took place in Europe where my main residence was. Some time down the road I moved to the United States, lived there for roughly a decade, and married. Since then, a few things changed.

We moved back to Europe, lived for a while in Germany, and finally settled in Malta. There's my current 'base' now, and that's where I continue with my photography. My preferred style still remains the 'documentary look'.
Nevertheless, I turn ideas into visual messages while operating on a mobile base. As for now, the bulk of my photography is done primarily here on the island, but I do cover the Mediterranean and most of Europe's northern regions.
